Talk about a little piece of heaven, Sea Stars Cottage is that and much, much more. The "Honeymoon Suite" was wonderful, very tastefully decorated, the bathroom with the spa tub was sinfully delicious. Although we were not on our honeymoon, we are coming up on our 37th year anniversary and needless to say, this place makes you want to "honeymoon" the entire time you are there. The suite opens onto a private porch where you can spend hours gazing into the ocean, people watch, read, enjoy a glass of wine, etc.
The highlight of the weekend, was participating in a sea turtle nest discovery and assisting in the "dig."
The food was excellent. A shrimp boil that Sherry was hosting for their "Share the Beach" group immediately became a "party" for new and old friends. We were treated not only like long lost friends, but honored guests.
The entire experience was magical and we're looking forward to our next visit to Sea Stars Cottage. If we're lucky, the Honeymoon Suite will be availabe. If not, there are four more exquisitely decorated rooms to choose from.
My husband, who was designated as Mr. Jer, so as not to be confused with another guest, Pompano Jerry enjoyed surf fishing and exploring Ft, Morgan, one of Alabama's oldest forts.
